Securidaca longepedunculata grows in the North-West and Limpopo Provinces of South Africa as well as in some tropical and subtropical parts of Africa. It also grows in the tropical savannah, especially in the Miombo and Caesalpinoid woodland.Securidaca longepedunculata grows in various types of woodlands or arid savannas. Its growth varies in different climates and altitudes with sandy, acidic or rocky soils.Securidaca longepedunculata is a tree that is most commonly found in the tropical and subtropical areas of Africa. It is a relatively small tree, measuring 6 – 12 metres high. 

There are many different medicinal uses for this tree used all around Africa. It can be used to treat sicknesses as small as headaches or as severe as arthritis.

The roots of the tree can be used for treatments to human ailments such as coughs, chest complaints, toothaches, gout, fevers, constipation,impotencia, diabetes and microbial infections.

In a 2008 study two new xanthones were isolated from the bark of the root, and one of them showed potent activity to relax the smooth muscle in the corpus cavernosum by 97% compared with sildenafil (Viagra) in 1.8 × 10 -5 mg / ml. 

Xanthones of S. longepedunculata were able to stimulate smooth muscle relaxation in the corpus cavernosum of the penis, which supports the traditional use of the bark of the root.

Chinese mythology

Thus, in the study of historical Chinese culture, many of the stories that have been told regarding characters and events which have been written or told of the distant past have a double tradition: one which presents a more historicized and one which presents a more mythological version....

To je bolest krhkih kostiju klinički, biokemijski i genetički heterogena bolest veziva uvjetovana abnormalnošću u sintezi kolagena.Lomljive i osteoporotične kosti njena su glavna osobina, no kako su zahvaćena i nemineralizirana tkiva u kojima je glavna bjelančevina matriksa kolagen tip I, promjene se očituju i na koži, tetivama, bjeloočnicama, zubima i krvnim žilama. A podjelu OI se temelji na kliničkim, rengenskim i genetičkim kriterijima.Od lakših do težih deformacija koje su podijeljeni u 6 grupa.

Elogen is the resting or falling out phase,

Catagen or intermediate phase is the shortest phase,

Anagen is the longest phase, in which the hair is growing. It usually last 2 to 3 years.

Epidermis is the top layer of skin that joins the hair follicle.

Stratum Corneum  is the layer of dead skin cells.
